The Queer 2 Fly Film Festival 2009 comes back with a bang this year, offering four different screenings, unlike the previous 2 years!

Irondvds.com donates two screenings of some very delicious LGBT-themed short films to Q2FFF this year, including:

We have in total seven fresh short films made especially for the festival this year. We launched our short documentary project with a portrait of Reverend Hawkes and his long-term relationship with his lover. Also in the documentary series there is an intimate observation of another gay couple, Tony and Phil, whose long-term relationship lasts for over 34 years.

Torontonian film-maker Navin Ramaswaran takes the initiative and directs three commercially viable short films in the premise of an exquisite mini series.

Navin has completed his first feature film NARA last year

José Sunsin, director of last year’s Pedro Levantate and No! Final Answer, teams up with Alex Plata and co-produce a hilarious action-comedy – BOY TOY- 2009. directed by Alexander Plata in his debut for Q2FFF. Starring Indrit Kasapi and Jose Sunsin. Boy Toy is a fast paced sci fi adventure with a gay twist. Some toys should not be played with. They are joined this year by our novice director Lance Quan, who debuts at Q2FFF with If Tomorrow Comes, a tongue-in-cheek chick-flick of a love story about two boys breaking up and getting back together, Danielle Steele style.
